Why we run: Every day, dogs in our community need safe shelter, medical care, and support. 9K for K9s brings people and pups together to raise funds and awareness for no‑kill shelters and canine support organizations. Your steps help dogs waiting for homes and those serving alongside us in the community.

How it works: 100% of net proceeds support this year’s featured beneficiary. Beginning next year, only participants from a previous 9K for K9s may nominate the following year’s recipient shelter/agency to keep the event community‑driven.
